I always had this when I was still living in Melbourne, especially during the exam or assignment times. It's very easy to cook and not many ingredients needed. Most of the ingredients can be found at home, except perhaps the Hoisin Sauce, or most commonly known as Chinese BBQ sauce.

Recipe :

150g green beans
1 clove garlic
350g minced chicken
1tbsp hoisin sauce
4tsp soy sauce
1 egg
2tsp white vinegar

Instructions :

1. Boil water, and put the green beans for around 10 mins or until it is soft
2. Marinate the chicken with the hoisin sauce and soy sauce for 5-10 mins
3. Heat oil in the pan, fry the garlic until a bit brown and put the chicken inside. Stir-fry it until it's almost cooked
4. Add green beans and continue cooking until all the minced chickens are cooked
5. Boil the water again and the white vinegar, when it boils, add the egg inside. it is done when you can see all the white part of egg already set. (if you want gooey egg yolk)
6. Served with rice and sprinkle a bit of chilli flakes

Actually, the classic and common szechuan green beans dishes has many variety, most of them are using pork or even beef. Also, they usually do not come with poached egg. But who can resist this gooey egg yolk. It's adding flavour to this rice bowl of green beans and minced meat.

Middle fish is a Thai restaurant located in Carlton. It is more to Thai fusion, as it is not authentic thai but still good, even though it could be a little bit above the average price for the food they served, it's still worth to go. I went there for both lunch and brunch before, and I strongly recommend you to go only for the lunch.

I ordered this Kha Na ($16), It is basically rice with fried eggs, pork belly, and broccoli. You can choose between pork belly or tofu, and brown rice or white rice. Well, I was not on my healthy mood that day, so white rice and pork belly. Even though it looks simple, but it was good.

My friend ordered this omelet rice, but I am not sure what this is called. This one was quite good too. :)

The most amazing thing here was the thai ice tea. It was not too sweet but very rich in flavour. I can't stop having this and every time i went to other thai restaurants and ordered the thai ice tea, it was never be the same with this one. Very recommended.

For the lunch, I am quite satisfied. They have good food, even though I think it's quite expensive for that simple kind of food. I mean they have other Thai restaurants nearby there with better price and better food. But as I said before, worth to go and try.

I went there again for brunch. My sister had to do some administration thingy at the spot building (commerce building for Melbourne University), and we were thinking to go to Seven Seeds to have brunch. But then, I passed this Middle Fish and saw their thai brunch menu. I was thinking thai brunch would be something I never had before. And it's always good to visit the place you have visited years ago and you liked it.

I love the sign hanging there. Double happiness <3 nbsp="" p="">

We were a bit lost when we read the menu, we did not know what to order. Besides that, there was only us at the restaurant. It's kinda weird, they were quite packed for the lunch, as I remembered.
Finally, we decided to order the Smoked Salmon Bagel ($10.5) served with son-in-law egg, shredded radish salad, sri ra cha & coconut creme fraiche. To be honest, this was not good at all. The salmon was not even smoked, it was cooked ! and the son-in-law egg, was just adding another disappointment. It's basically boiled egg sprinkled with chilli flakes. But, it's not that Thai anyway, so maybe we ordered the wrong dish at the wrong place.

Next, we had something more Thai. Quinoa, chickpeas, & Broccoli fritter ($15.5) with crispy pork belly, Kang Som tartare, chilli jam & sprout salad. When the food came, I already had some disappointment in the presentation. But some food are not meant to be presentable even though the taste are good. So when I ate it, I had quite low expectations, but still it did not even come to that expectations. The fritters were not good at all, and the pork belly, can they please cut it smaller?
Gosh, and the sprout salad.. it did not need to be there seriously.

And this one is again more thai than before. But even from the looks, I had no appetite already. This one was Hoy Tod ($15.5), Crunchy Mussel Omelette with pickled bean shoot and their version of Sri Ra Cha Sauce. And it was no good either.

I ordered the Thai milk tea again but I did not bother to take any pictures of it. It was NOT milk tea at all. It was like not enough tea, and the colour is like the tea being infused so many times and u simply add a lot of milk into it. It was huge disappointment compared to the first time I went there.

Don't get me wrong, I still recommend this thai restaurant for you, but really not for brunch, you should go for lunch. I will still go back there for the Kha Na and Thai Milk Tea. I think the thai milk tea I had during brunch was a mistake. Good points about this restaurant is the staffs were very nice, they were so smiley and friendly.
What level of spiciness can you hold?

For all spicy lovers out there, you probably have heard about this Samyang Korean Fried Noodle. And yes, It is very spicy. At first bite, it is just okay, but the more you eat it, it is like burning your tongue and throat. But you just simply could not stop after you had it, it's too good.

The Samyang packaging, picture is not mine. I took it from The Ramen Rater. It is a great blog for all instant noodle lovers. They give detailed explanations of the instant noodles around the world, and good styling of them.

For people who cannot eat spicy but still want to try this samyang noodle, I have some tips to make it edible ;) :

The best way to 'cover' the spiciness is by adding something into the noodle, therefore add at least 2 eggs into it.

Not only eggs, you can also add carrot or broccoli, chicken or even bean sprouts. (I did not add this as I enjoy the spiciness)

And most importantly, after you boil your noodle and mix it with the seasonings, remember to fry it. It can be done when you are scrambling your egg. Put the noodle back to the frying pan when the eggs are almost done. Stir it a bit and it will be ready to be served.

Some of my friends suggesting me to add sweet soy sauce into it. I never try this, but if you still can't hold the spiciness after the 3 steps above, you could probably need to add this.

Prepare one glass of soda or ice tea

I hope you will enjoy this samyang as much as I do. Happy cooking and spicying ! !

Chinese dessert is my favourite dessert besides French dessert. It is always comforting, especially during hot weather. My friend recommended me Ah Chew Dessert in Singapore, located in Bugis. The name might not so professional, but the desserts were superb. The queue was very long but it was quite fast for us to get our turn.

Mango Sago and Pamelo Dessert. This was very very good. The mango was so sweet, but you could taste the fresh sweetness from the mango. Really recommended for the mango lover.

Water Chestnut with herbal jelly. My friend ordered this one and I never thought water chestnut will be this good. It's very refreshing and good. I'll order this next time when I'm back.

Durian Sago. The king of all dessert. The durian is super sweet, I am not sure whether they are making it into puree or using cream or whatever magic ingredients they put there. This one was so good. It was sweet but not that very sweet that makes you feel it's too much. Super highly recommended.

Tokyo station is one of the must go district in Tokyo. They have everything : shopping, dining, sight seeing. However, there is not many cheap yet good restaurants. Katana is one of them, and when I saw the menu, to be honest I was not interested at all

It has so many ranges of restaurant, from high end restaurants, fast foods, to small cozy cafes.

My Japanese friend brought me to and people cafe, it is located not far from the heart of Shibuya crossing. but you have to go small alleys. This cafe servers japanese kind of food but in cafe style.

I really love the cafe's interior design. They use simple decorating materials that you could find at home but managed to make it so attractive

We were seated at this place and not facing other customers, isn't that cute? This cafe makes you feel like you are at your own cozy home.
At least, that is what Inakaya shows us. Inakaya restaurant at Roppongi, which is robatayaki style restaurant, has 2 branches in Tokyo, and 1 in New York. We went to Inakaya West, which is smaller than Inakaya East.

Robatayaki is (炉端焼き?, literally "fireside-cooking"), often shortened to just robata (ろばた inhiragana), refers to a method of cooking, similar to barbecue, in which items of food on skewers are slow-grilled over hot charcoal (Source : Wikipedia).

It is always a good idea to make a booking before you go there. We did not get a table at Inakaya East as it was too full. Many actors or actresses have been there, including Cameron Diaz, Leonardo Di Caprio, Tobey Maguire, etc.

The restaurant style is chefs sitting in the middle with grill pan and fresh vegetables and meat or seafoods in front of them. The chefs take the seafoods or vegetables using big oars and they will grill your food order, and using the same oar to serve you. All of the seats are surrounding the "chefs' stage performance".

Our chefs of the night. I wish I still had the video of their "ritual" when they changed the chefs in charge. The Hongkong guests seated facing us kept giving them glasses of beer as a gratitude for cooking us good foods.

The sake from the Hongkong and Chinese guests in front of us. I think they were a bit drunk, they kept 'kanpai' with us, even though we only drank tea.In the end they ordered sake for us. I am not a sake drinker, but this sake was good. Undeniably the half-drunken guests kinda made the atmosphere even fun.

I really enjoyed the dinner I had here. Thanks to very good service from chefs, waiters, and all the guests too. Personal opinion, the foods were not so good that you would think to go back, it is the service and atmosphere that make you want to go back and have another fun experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you want good and fun dining experience. For me, I will definitely go back ;)
For me, it is just a battered fried fish and unreasonable amount of french fries. And most of the times, the oil they used for frying the fish is kinda smelly. I do not know it is because they fry too many stuffs or just simply because of the fish.

But, there is always exception on anything. Hooked is the only one of the many fish and chips restaurant that I like. I am not exaggerating here, it's true.
We ordered the Box for Two (S35.95) which includes 2 house fish, 8 calamari, and 2 king prawns. We had the fish grilled instead of fried. The fish was just average, i did not really like it even if it is grilled already. The prawns were just okay. But the calamari were sooo good ! it's crispy on the outside and the batter that being used to cover the calamari were so tasty. Next time, I will just order the calamari.

And nect, my favourite here is the Fish Burritp ($8.95). There were grilled fish , spanish onion, and their own homemade salsa, wrapped using soft shell tortilla and it was very good. I did not know why the fish here did not have that unpleasant smell considering they must be using the same grilled fish for the Box for Two that we ordered. It could be the salsa or the veggies in the burrito.
This one is very recommended.
Everybody loves having chit chat while sipping tea and enjoying their desserts.

One of the hype place for afternoon tea in Melbourne is The Tea Salon. It is located in new shopping mall in Melbourne CBD, the Emporium. Queue was around 30-35 mins when we went there around 4 o'clock.

I love the ambiance, it was purple and white based colour with flowery print wallpaper. I think it's very British kind of tea salon. They serve scones, quiche, different kind of tea, and high tea set. The high tea sets are quite expensive, the cheapest one (classic high tea) is $39 which includes scones, sandwiches, and assorted sweets, while if you choose the sparkling high tea ($48), they will add a flute of the tea salon sparkling, and the most expensive one (couture high tea), you will have Moet & Chandon Brut Imperial NV for $59.

Their selections of scones displayed at the front. You can take-away the scones (6pcs) in one box for $18.

We decided to not take any of the high tea sets and go to choose order the dish and dessert separately. First we ordered the raspberry pistachio cheesecake ($12).
It was just average. Not too bad, but not that good.

I couldn't remember what these two savoury dishes' name are. My guess is the first picture is bacon quiche, and second is smoked salmon scones. The former was much better than the latter. However, still nothing special from these two dishes.

Lastly we ordered the cranberry and white chocolate scones ($5.95). And finally we had something good to have here. The cream was good and the scones itself was good too. I think it's the only dish we like there.

As this is high tea, it will not be complete without ordering tea to accompany us, we ordered different kinds of tea (earl grey, peppermint, and two others which I forgot), and all of us agreed that the tea was just average tea and even being infused too long already. My earl grey was very bitter with no bergamot flavour at all as being overwhelmed by the bitterness, which is kinda disappointing.

Overall, we did not really enjoy the high tea there. Not only was the food average, but also, we could not enjoy sitting there. The table was too small for four persons. We ordered four tea, so there were four tea pots and four tea cups, not including our dishes and the table was very full already. We could barely move a bit.

We waited for almost 45 minutes with very cold wind and heavy rain. The queue was so long even though it's almost 2pm already, and we had to wait outside of the restaurant and to make it worse, no heater. Brrrr it was so cold but going to other restaurants or cafes was not a good option either. So we waited.

Some wine displayed on the restaurant.

When we waited for our table, I paid attention to the waiters and all of them are so friendly. The service was very good. I really wish they expand it so we did not have to wait that long anymore.

Corn and Zucchini fritters with avocado and tahini mousse, served with poached egg , $17. This one is classic corn fritters but the avocado and tahini mousse is really good, it gave more depth flavour to the simple corn fritters, especially when it's combined with the gooey egg yolk from the poached egg. This one is really recommended.

Duck egg, oyster mushrooms, truffle butter, with fontina brioche soldiers, $18. This one is no exception either, very good. I really love the mushroom and brioche. It just goes so well together.
Very recommended.
Last one is the infamous soft shell crab burger. Sometimes, I don't like soft shell crab as they have some smell, which is not fresh, or most of the times, they don't have that crunchy part that we always love to have in soft shell crab.

However, this one is just too good to be true. It's so crunchy and crispy shell. The flavour is just too good until I have no words to explain. The whole burger, not only the soft shell crab , was very very good ! This one is super highly recommended. I almost ordered the second burger if I had no other appointment with my friends.

It was just a quick lunch before we went to other places to settle to a new place, new environment, and a new life.

People said you will never forget the first experience, and it will always be the most memorable one. And.. maybe that what happens to me. I don't know what's very special about Grand BBQ, but whenever i visited Melbourne, I have to eat at there at least once.

Grand BBQ as the name suggested, specialised in BBQ pork, roast duck on rice or noodle, like typical Hongkong dishes. But, what I have always ordered and loved is the Yong tau foo.

The Yong tau foo costs $11. You can choose what noodle you like (egg noodle, spinach noodle, vermicelli, or rice noodle), and then you choose the soup (curry, chicken or tom yam soup), and you can choose six items from various dumplings, stuffed veggies, bean curd skin, etc.

I always order vermicelli with curry soup along with stuffed eggplant, stuffed mushroom, bean curd skin, and other dumplings.

The picture does not do the justice but this is really one of comfort foods in Melbourne.

The small restaurant is very packed during lunch time, so be sure to come early.

My friend ordered the smokey beef brisket with carrot remoulade and they said it was good. I did not eat beef so could not give any personal opinion.

Next, the Southern Style Pork Belly Chops, it was served with apple sauce and the crackle. It was like the western version of Indonesian suckling pig. The crackle were so cripsy and good, the pork belly was soft. Recommended.

I ordered this slow braised lamb neck with hand rolled spaghetti. My first impression when looking at this dish was…. is this really main dish? It was kinda small portion for main dish. The hand rolled spaghetti was average, but the lamb was sooo tender ! If only the flavour of the lamb was stronger, i think it will be very very good ! This one is still recommended.

Finally, the other outstanding dish was this clam chowder. It was served with 4 slices of baguette.
I am not fan of clam chowder. Most of the times, they were too creamy and I did not like it. But this one was too good. The cream was light but enough, together with the bread it's just perfect. Very recommended.

Make sure you make a booking for this restaurant as they are quite full for both lunch and dinner. They accept internet and phone call booking.
I was kinda excited like little girl craving for candies. Unfortunately it was sold out already when I went there around 3 o'clock. Too bad.

When my friends and I went to have brunch at Fitzroy area, finally I had the chance to try the passion fruit tart.

The yummy sourdough on the racks, I felt like grabbing everything there.

The award winning passion fruit tart, and maybe beside them are the creme brûlée tart.

Here is the passion fruit tart. The passion fruit curd was so smooth and good. It was sour, but not too sour. And the tart was so good, it was flaky and crispy. Just beyond my expectation of how good tart should be !

I have never been there but seen my friend posted the dessert and it looks so damn good. I could not wait to try the golden bricks which looks like the UNO tower for me. Of course better version cause this one can be eaten (read : girl with big appetite here).

We decided to go there and I was expecting a long queue since it was saturday and it was very cold.

But, when i went there, there was nobody. I was a bit surprised to be honest.

We ordered the berries golden bricks with vanilla ice cream on the top. I did not expect it would be good since no other customers there. However, to be honest, it was good ! the toast bread was very crispy, and sourness from the berries just goes well with the vanilla ice cream.

Maybe if they sell it cheaper then there will be more customers going there. If I am not mistaken, the golden bricks costs around $18.

Brunch is one of a must thing to do in Melbourne. Honestly, until now, i still think Melbourne has the most attractive brunch spot. They always innovate with creative menus, not just that classic egg Benedict, or some combination of egg bacon and cheese. With Melbourne smart foodies, there will be always something different and worth to try.

I started with hot chocolate. The chocolate is good, not too sweet and smooth. Perfect to start especially during this chilling winter.

And some muffins and cupcakes when we entered the cafe. Did not try any, but saw many people take-away them.

We ordered the snapper with fried egg chilli. The chilli is not spicy at all. The fish were quite good. But honestly this dish was not special, even though it was still good.

Here was the most outstanding food at Top Paddock. The ricotta blueberry hotcake. This was real good. Really good. I mean, how can a blueberry hotcake be so good? It's just simple breakfast that you can whip at home when you are too lazy to go out. It's just simple pancake with blueberry in it. Yes, that's what i thought before I had this amazing blueberry hotcake.

The pancake was so fluffy and good. The sweetness was just right, balance with the sour from blueberries and ricotta, the fluffiness was perfect. Very recommended.

Considering the price, they serve a very good dish. They just open new branch in CBD, so people do not have to travel far when craving for their famous quails.

Mabrown is specialized in fried quails. However, for the one in CBD, we have to order in advance because they do not have the quails ready at CBD branch (or maybe they do not stock much). Anyway, if you want to have the quails in CBD, make sure you make a call first. The call is not same as booking. Yes, they don't accept bookings. Moreover, they divide 1 quail into 2 pieces. So, if you want to have 4 pieces, tell them you want 2 quails. REMEMBER. Affordable foods do not always come with good service, so.. remember that 1 quail is equal to 2 pieces quails.
See those yummy quails, I'm feeling to lick my computer screen now. I am not sure whats the seasoning is. But I am thinking they fried onion and dried chilli, and of course other ingredients but i can't guess. Hahahaaa. They were so good ! so crispy and spicy !

Another dish that i really like is the ayam rojak (chicken rojak). Rojak is sweet and spicy chilli sauce, mostly popular in southeast asia countries (indonesia, malaysia, singapore). It was served with chicken, cucumber, veggies, and prata. I think it's the best combination of ayam rojak.
How about drinking this beauty soup? Will you drink?

I can't wait to have this beauty pot. When I went to Singapore last year, they only have one branch in Plaza Singapura, and we have to wait approximately 1hr 30mins if we would like to be on the waiting list, we should leave our number and they would call us if they had table for us. To make it worse, they would not guarantee that we would get a table because it was 7 something already that day.

I was already hungry that time and we just went to random cafe while waiting for their call. While enjoying some tea and dessert and chatting with my friend, the staff from Tsukada Nojo called us, but unfortunately I was a little bit full, and hotpot at 8:30 did not sound good, I could be bloated.

Finally, when I visited Singapore again last month, I told myself I had to have the beauty pot. I went to the 2nd branch at Chinatown Point.

I started with the appetiser. It was chicken salad with with some yuzu dressing if i am not mistaken. It was good and very refreshing dish. And next, we have the onigiri which i forgot to take picture, they were the bomb ! They were onigiri wrapped with magic bacon. Everything will be good with bacon involved in it. I recommend to order the Onigiri with yuzu, really good.

We proceeded to the main course of that day, the beauty pot. The beauty pot is actually made of chicken collagen. The collagens are imported directly from Japan. From what I read on plaza singapura's website , the collagen is derived from chickens called jitokko which are very special chickens due to the way they are being raised. Thus, making this beauty pot special as well.

After being heated for several minutes, the collagens started to get melted, and started to become soup.
As you can imagine, the soup was kinda thick and had a very depth flavour.

Putting all the ingredients inside, except the prawns. I think thats the order they made, the prawns should be eaten at the very last.

For me, the soup was good, you could taste it was a very well cooked chicken soup. However, half way eating this beauty pot, I was rather full and since it was a very thick soup, i just couldn't drink more of it. I also love the noodle very much, it's not too soft, not hard, just the right noodle's texture.

At the end, they served us complimentary dessert, it's jelly kinda dessert with orange flavour.

And see how cute they drew my mom? They said it was inspired by my mom's hair. :D

Overall, it was a very good experience eating this hot beauty pot. I recommend for you all to give it a try to have different experience, and hopefully the collagens work effectively to my skin rather than converting itself into fats. :D
Yojiya is founded in 1904 and originated from Kyoto. They first sells cosmetics and then expand to F&B business under the same name. My friend told me it is very famous for their face powder paper.

I am not very sure whether they serve main course in the cafe. We went there for the dessert, and the dessert they serve are typical japanese desserts, a very good japanese dessert.

I ordered the green tea 'soup' with adzuki and chewy balls, and ice cream in it. It was very yummylicious. the vanilla ice cream just melts and blends in the warm matcha 'soup'. And the matcha is not the ordinary matcha, it is one of the best matcha from Kyoto according to my friends. Guess it really make the difference.
They are made by pouring batter to a frying pan with melted butter coating the pan , resulting a very thin combination of flour, egg, milk, sugar, and the mighty butter. It is like the most basic but also the most comfort dessert.

Most of the crepes in Japan, like Harajuku crepes, are served with ice cream, cheesecake, berries, and whipped cream or even the savoury ones with mayoinnaise, tuna, lettuce, and many other combination . I, of course, like the Harajuku style, however most of the time i prefer the simple version of crepes.

Gelato Pique Cafe is located at Shibuya Hikarie, one of the newest department store in Shibuya area.

It is a small stall with quite a long queue. I waited for almost 15 mins. As I saw, there was only 2 people working there, one handling the crepes, and the other handling the payment. It was a bit slow, because only 1 person making the crepes, including wrapping the crepes, cleaning the frying pan.

The batter flavours are plain, cacao, macha , and mango. And they put it inside a cute container with the flavour label on it. When I was waiting, I kept thinking what I should get, plain or macha? Cacao is out of my choices because I want to order hot chocolate, so, definitely not cacao. For mango, hmm it's kinda unique but not for that day.

And finally, after deciding, i choose the plain crepe. It was very very good. It's like the best plain crepes I have ever had. You can taste the butter mildly, but enough. And they sprinkle sugar on it, which just goes very well with the butter. So, buttery and a very mild sweetness. It's just never been this good.
I love doing window shopping, enjoying cup of coffee at the cafes, or even walking around ginza with Manneken Waffle on my hand.

Manneken Waffle is belgian waffle with a very good smell of its butter. When i was walking through the store, i could smell this tasty buttery waffle.

They served the normal plain waffle, waffle with chocolate coating, purple potato, maple, and many other flavours. They also have waffle sandwich with cream with different kind of flavours.
I tried both sandwich and normal waffle, the waffle itself is very good. It has the butter smell, right sweetness, and the soft but chewy texture of the waffle is very good too.

Regarding the taste, i really like the chocolate ones. Nothing goes wrong if butter and dark chocolate are combined together. The maple waffle is good too. And lastly i tried the sandwich waffle which is not my favourite, but still okay.

Definitely a place to visit if you visit Tokyo. It has other branch too besides Ginza.
I always think that asians and baguette will never be best friend. Asians like a very fluffy and soft bread, they don't like those hard and chewy french bread. At least, that was what i thought.

And guess what, I am so wrong. I guess french bread has influenced Asian's taste. When i entered one of the French bakeries in Asia countries (Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, or Japan), I saw many people bought baguettes, artisan breads, croissants, etc. Thanks to Maison Kayser, Gontran Cherrier, Paul, and some other leading French Bakeries that made expansion to Asia and introduce a very good French bread to Asians.

When i was studying boulangerie , baguette is one of the most frequent and compulsory bread to make. I really enjoyed making them, it is a very interesting process, the kneading part, the fermentation, faconnage (shaping), scoring (cutting), and finally the baking process.

Depending on the type of dough, the amount of water, baguette requires different treatment in the shaping. We should not close it firmly if we want a good bubble inside the baguette.A good baguette is crispy on the outside, but interior should be chewy. However, it could be hard to enjoy baguette at humid condition, since the exterior will not be that crispy and tend to become hard and very chewy.

Therefore, always remember to toast it before u have the baguette. It will bring back the crispy exterior and chewy but soft interior.

Here is my baguette served with pork pate and boiled egg. If only i have lettuce, it will a good combination.

It's been a long time already since my last post.

When I was living in Tokyo this year, it was very cold, couple times of heavy snow, strong wind, and countless times of raining. One day i went to omotesando area, and it started to snow.

I do not like snow, it's very slippery, very cold, messy hair, wet jacket, etc. However, who doesn't love the white view caused by the snow? See how pretty those white tree and ivory building behind the trees?

I was having these dessert while facing the beautiful view. I had the berries one, and my friend ordered the tiramisu. Personally, i preferred the tiramisu. They are some kinds of honey toast, the tiramisu consists of whipped cream, ice cream, cocoa powder and drizzled with melting chocolate, while the berries got whipped creams, 3 kinds of berries (strawberry, raspberry, and blueberry) and sprinkled with some crumbles.

They go really well with a cup of coffee.

I could not take pictures of the restaurant, which I think is very weird. I mean, why cant we take pictures? I think it is sort of free advertisement for you.

No second time in the restaurant. I totally forgot all the name of the foods. However, the first one is okay. The second one is just standard english breakfast. The third one is not good at all. it's like crab cake, and the crab for me is not fresh.

Have you tried Tim Ho Wan? The one-michelin star dimsum restaurant which is very famous for its baked bbq buns and carrot cake?

Not yet?

Then, you HAVE TO.

The bun itself is everyone's favourite. Long queue is worth it. Be sure to arrive early. I only waited for 30 mins, and I arrived there quite early, before 12 :)

I really love the buns, but they limit 3 buns per person, which is sad :(
The carrot cake is not my favourite at all. The other dimsum are okay. Sio May is good.
